Director

Lily Raabe is a director, teaching artist and arts activist.  She holds her B.A. degree in Performance, Stage Management and Costume Designfrom University of Portland and her M.A. in Educational Theatre from NYU.  Lily has worked with many theatre companies including Oregon Children’s Theatre, Northwest Children’s Theatre,Theatre Askew (a NYC company that facilitates the development of professional theatre with at-risk LGBTQ students), Rehabilitation Through the Arts (bringing Theatre of the Oppressed workshops into maximum security prisons), and Opening Act where she is currently employed as a staff member and Lead Teaching Artist for 2 year-long residencies. This is her second time directing a piece by Lavinia Roberts and she cannot wait for the challenge of bringing masks,puppets, music and text together with such a talented cast and crew
