Ahmed Alabaca was born in San Bernardino, California. he began his
formal training on piano and in composition at California State University of
San Bernardino right after high school. Ahmed has played the piano for 22 years
and composing for 10. He recently graduated from Hunter College, finishing his
BA in music with and emphasis in piano studies. While at Hunter, Ahmed composed
for their annual concerto competition by completing a concert peice for piano
and full orchestra. During his last semester, Ahmed composed two 10 minute
operas along with writing their librettos. While growing up in Southen
California, Ahmed musically directed 3 shows: RENT, You're a Good Man Charlie
Brown and Annie and played piano/violin for about 20. Ahmed also musically
directed a show in New York, The Buttonhole Bandit, another
childrens play. It is Ahmed's great pleasure and honor to be a part of
Eaten Voices and lending his music to this extraordinary story and
amazing cast and crew!
